This rustic, iron and brass bell is a timeless tradition, crafted by expert artisans for three generations. In India, free-roaming cows often sport bells to help farmers track their livestock. During holidays, farmers often decorate cows with floral garlands and bells to celebrate their harvests. Cowbells, with their distinct charm and delightful noise, have spread beyond the world of livestock, inspiring designers and craftspeople to use them as home decorations indoors and out.
The red bells are hand painted by marginalized women that have learned this trade.
