These black and white clay beads are made by hand in Mali - each one is free form and unique, and the patterns on the beads may vary. Paired with beads made from recycled paper - this necklace is an eco-friendly gem. The paper beads are coated with an acrylic lacquer, making them safe for everyday wear, but this necklace should not be worn to shower or swim.

Handcrafted in Uganda, this necklace is more than jewelry—it’s a symbol of strength and solidarity in the fight against human trafficking. Every purchase supports women and girls escaping exploitation in Uganda, India, and the Philippines by providing fair wages, education, health care, and community through our non-profit, International Sanctuary.
