Choose from a variety of colors and sizes on our new decorative glass beads! We love them as decor on your tabletop.
These recycled glass beads are a traditional craft of the Krobo people of Ghana. Glass items are collected, crushed into powder, pressed into a mold, and a small stick is poked through the center to form the hole. When heated, the glass fuses together and the stick burns away, leaving behind a beautiful, rustic bead. In East Africa, we work with a few local traders who collect and sell beads from across the continent.
Your purchase supports their families and the Krobo artisans they source from. Profits from the sale of these beads also go back into funding our sanctuaries. These are the same glass beads that are featured in our Jasmine collection.
